Don McIntosh

Chief Operating Officer

Don’s career focus has been on operational gains through process improvement and applying proven technologies in SMBs and global companies. Don started his first entrepreneurial venture in 1987, founding an engineering services firm that developed patented operational technologies, selling the company in 2000. Subsequently he worked as an executive in mergers and acquisitions, focusing on operational improvements in acquired businesses. During that time Don began applying lean techniques and knowledge engineering with great success. Don works with domain experts, investors and customers applying a unique hybrid approach to develop SaaS solutions. Don is a published author and has contributed to the filing of several patents.

Cat Coughran

Chief Executive Officer

Cat’s extensive career in marketing, sales and business development ranges from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. Strong in both B2B and B2C marketing and sales strategies, she has a track record of adapting quickly to new market opportunities, and knack for identifying and leveraging disruption. Cat has directed several multi-million-dollar marketing and sales organizations as well as building and selling an experiential/new media marketing agency. Cat has also developed flexible sales and marketing processes that are used by many global organizations to systematically and quickly gain traction with stakeholders and customers. Cat has an educational background in mass communications and theatre, and a real-world business education from being a serial entrepreneur, working with business incubators, and learning from highly successful mentors.

Kushal Mishra

Co-Founder

Kushal is an Electronics Engineer with a specialization in embedded systems and mobile and satellite communications. His career spans 18 years employed primarily in the telecommunication and media processing space. Working in both the US and India, Kushal has experience in defining and implementing best practices in software research and development for multi-national, enterprise clients. Leveraging his experience in Radio Access Network (RAN) and video and image codecs and his knack for solving previously unsolved problems, Kushal brings unique expertise and insight to the Sky Peak Technologies team.

Michael Baldwin

Head of Global Sales

Clients appreciate Michael’s ethical and forward-thinking approach and the time he takes to thoroughly understand their current and future needs so that he can offer solutions that will support their growth into the future. Michael has built his career in telecommunications by building trust among his clients as well as members of his successful sales teams. He has sold in and built teams in both the enterprise and small business markets. After 11 years with AT&T Enterprise working with Fortune 500 corporations in business development and forming marketing partnerships with colleges and universities, Michael developed opportunities for several startups including the early deployment phases of FTTH. Michael then entered the cable provider market with the mission to build and manage B2B sales teams for Adelphia. He built a 5 state regional sales organization from sales operations to Account Executives to create $2 million of new revenue in a 18 month period , At Comcast , as the Sr Manager of Sales and Marketing, Michael faced something new to cable, competition, with AT&T Uverse entering the Hartford, CT area. Quick sales and marketing strategy and implementation helped protect much of the market in the area. Most recently during his 11 years with Charter-Spectrum Business, Michael built a nationally ranked SMB sales team as well as led an enterprise sales team as the Director of Sales for the Northeast US for Spectrum Community Solutions. Michael injects energy into developing talented recruits, inspiring individuals as well as teams to set and achieve challenging goals and collaborate across boundaries to ensure that customers receive the best win win offer possible.

Holly Faber

Executive Assistant to the CEO, Marketing Manager, and Sales Coordinator

Holly Faber is a Colorado native and has worked in the areas of social media management, content creation, and video and podcast production throughout her career. Her skills vary in this new role of Executive Assistant to the CEO, Marketing Manager, and Sales Coordinator for Sky Peak Technologies.

Janet has been a software engineer for 20+ years. Her mobile apps have won awards. She has been a hands-on developer, manager and team lead at many companies, some large, and many startups. She enjoys taking on tough challenges, solving problems, and contributing to the successes of the companies she works with.

Blake Rhyner

Software Development Engineer, Product Development

Blake graduated in May of 2023 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. While working towards his degree, he spent a portion of it coding in C++, where he found his passion for coding. Blake took the job at SkyPeak Technologies because he could see that it would be a great place to grow professionally while producing work that would positively affect millions of people.

Joe Carder

DevOps Director

Joe Carder has just under two and half decades of experience working in the information technology field and began focusing on web applications and middleware systems in the late 1990s. In his current position as an Enterprise Architect with OpenLogic Joe works with a plethora of industries assisting organizations migrating to modern cloud native architectures, adopting DevOps best practices, migrating to and evangelizing open source software, and helping ensure organizations get the most out of their Information technology investments.

Kristin McBreen

Business and Marketing Operations Director

Kristin has worked in most areas of marketing and business operations for around 20 years. Having worked across industries from startups to worldwide advertising; her experiences have touched web design, event planning, sales marketing and email marketing. Kristin has Bachelors and Masters degrees in Communications.

Sunil Gaitonde

Advisory Board Member, Tech Startup Guru

Sunil is a serial entrepreneur with a long track record of highly successful start-ups and enterprise ventures. Early in his career, Sunil began building new technologies and systems that would be sought after by the tech giants of the times like Sun Microsystems, Cisco and Intel. During the tough financial times of the early 2000s, Sunil raised millions of dollars in funding and led his ventures to eventual sales. To capitalize on his product building expertise, Sunil co-founded GS Lab in 2003 with the vision of building innovative products as a service to the global business markets. Bootstrapped by its founders, GS Lab grew organically and rapidly. Today, the company employs over 1000 people. In 2011, GS Lab incubated and spun out the video platform company kPoint Technologies for which Sunil is now the CEO. Sunil’s written works have been published in numerous journals, and he holds several patents.

Marc Nager

Co-Founder of Startup Weekend and former CEO of UP Global and Chief Community Officer at Techstars. Since 2009, Marc has been a leader of the startup movement around the world. He has built and scaled programs that have served more than 500,000 entrepreneurs in over 700 cities and 142 countries around the world. At UP Global he managed a team of nearly 75 people with offices in 5 international locations and oversaw Startup Weekend, Startup Next, Startup Digest, Startup Week, and Startup America. He's worked with grassroots and political leaders from around the world as well as executives at many FT500 companies around innovation and entrepreneurship. Originally from the small town of Mammoth Lakes, CA, Marc found his way to Telluride in where he served as the Managing Director for the Telluride Venture Accelerator for two years before jumping into GCVF. He and his wife Ashley now live in Ridgway with their daughter, Lia.

He is a Business-minded leader with a unique blend of technical knowledge, management expertise, corporate vision and the effective use of IT solutions to maximize business potential.
